Dear fellow GATE users,
I'm using Gate 7.2 and I'd like to verify the usage of a voxelized phantom.
I'm importing the phantom in MHD image format using the following lines:
/gate/voxPhantom/geometry/setImage
phantom.mhd/gate/voxPhantom/geometry/setRangeToMaterialFile
AttenuationRange.dat
/gate/voxPhantomContainer/daughters/insert ImageRegularParametrisedVolume
This is my MHD header:
ObjectType = ImageNDims = 3BinaryData = TrueBinaryDataByteOrderMSB =
FalseCompressedData = FalseTransformMatrix = 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1Offset =
-189.629 -380.129 -1488CenterOfRotation = 0 0 0AnatomicalOrientation =
RAIElementSpacing = 0.742188 0.742188 5DimSize = 512 512 70ElementType
= MET_SHORTElementDataFile = phantom.raw
Looking at the values in the raw image I created this
'AttenuationRange.dat' file:
3-35000 -30 Air true 1.0 0.0 0.0 0.2-30 10 Water true 0.0 1.0 0.0
0.210 40000 Plexiglass true 0.0 0.0 1.0 0.2
How can I verify that the according materials are actually set correctly?
>From the user guide [1] I got that it is not possible to visualize it:
"However, as previously mentioned, so far current implementations of any of
the three new parametrization methods do not support voxel visualization
attributes on a per material basis, hence preventing the voxelized phantom
from being displayed."
Is there any other way of verification, e.g. output of an intermediate
processing step in the creation of the phantom?
Thanks for your help!
Best regards,
Philipp Matthies
