in
Orlando (http://www.nss-mic.org/2009/NSSMain.asp).
This workshop will include:

GATE (to be realse in October 2009), including
new functionalities for modelling external
radiotherapy experiments and live demos.
2. Presentation of the on-going and future developments of GATE.
3. Presentation of research activities based on GATE by GATE users.
4. Discussion between GATE users and OpenGATE members
To give a representative view of current research
activities based on GATE, about 6 contributions
will be selected for oral presentation. If you
would like to present your research activities
making use of GATE,
please submit an abstract describing the
important features of your work and the specific
use of GATE for this research. Summaries should

a PDF document.
Abstracts should be submitted to both the
technical coordinator of OpenGATE (Sebastien Jan
at sebastien.jan at cea.fr) and to the spokesperson
of the collaboration (Irène Buvat at
buvat at imnc.in2p3.fr) by August 31, 2009.
Detailed information about the time of the
workshop, the agenda and the location will be
sent by September 15.
Please do not hesitate to contact Sebastien Jan
(sebastien.jan at cea.fr) or Irene Buvat
(buvat at imnc.in2p3.fr) for any additional
