<div>A GATE workshop will be organized during the next IEEE MIC
conference to be held October 25-31 2000 in</div>
<div>Orlando (<font face="Lucida Grande"
color="#000000">http://www.nss-mic.org/2009/NSSMain.asp</font>).</div>
<div><br>
This workshop will include:<br>
</div>
<div>1. Presentation of the latest GATE V6 version of GATE (to be
realse in October 2009), including new functionalities for modelling
external radiotherapy experiments and live demos.</div>
<div>2. Presentation of the on-going and future developments of
GATE.</div>
<div>3. Presentation of research activities based on GATE by GATE
users.</div>
<div>4. Discussion between GATE users and OpenGATE members</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>To give a representative view of current research activities
based on GATE, about 6 contributions will be selected for oral
presentation. If you would like to present your research activities
making use of GATE,</div>
<div>please submit an abstract describing the important features of
your work and the specific use of GATE for this research. Summaries
should be no more 2 page long. There is not predefined layout for the
abstract, but it should be sent as a PDF document.</div>
<div>Abstracts should be submitted to both the technical coordinator
of OpenGATE (Sebastien Jan at sebastien.jan@cea.fr) and to the
spokesperson of the collaboration (Irène Buvat at
buvat@imnc.in2p3.fr) by August 31, 2009.</div>

<div>Detailed information about the time of the workshop, the agenda
and the location will be sent by September 15.<br>
