Dear Gate users,

Please find below all the information you need to know about our next GATE events :)

WORKSHOPS:

October 31 @ IEEE NSS-MIC conference in Manchester <https://nssmic.ieee.org/2019/special-events/> from 12:00 to 14:00, please REGISTER <https://indico.in2p3.fr/event/19721/>; you are invited to present your work (10 mins), please provide a title on the online registration form in order we prepare the timetable.

TRAINING:

The training is open to students, researchers, engineers from public laboratories, universities or private companies. The training is dedicated to beginners (20 attendees maximum), you will learn how to use the platform for different applications: dosimetry, imaging and radiation therapy (we will adapt the course regarding your field of activities). You should come with your laptops and install the last GATE virtual machine (8.2). If you encounter any problem with the installation or you don’t have any laptop, don’t worry, we are able to provide you everything during the training.
The training is 1000 € including taxes (no taxes for french public institution), lunches and coffee breaks are included in the cost of the training, a social event will be organised with teachers. After completing your registration on the web site, you will receive a registration form that you have to complete and send it back to CNRS Formation in order they provide you an invoice for the payment. When registered, you will receive an information sheet to choose your hotel and to reach the training location.
