Dear all,

I indeed converted the ICRP 109 phantom .dat data to one of the input types of GATE, namely the .iff/.img combination. For each pixel value I assigned the correct material. When I now only put a source in the oralmucosa, I get the following result for deposited dose:

So, the dose is deposited outside of the body, next to the legs. Can anyone clarify which mistake I’m making here?

Thanks in advance!

Although this conversion has succeeded, when I try to use the image file as an input for dosimetry calculations with GATE, I get weird looking dose distributions.

> Hello Niels,
> Have you try to convert your file to the formats described in detail here: http://wiki.opengatecollaboration.org/index.php/Users_Guide_V8.0:Voxelized_Source_and_Phantom
> The formats recognized by the GATE are:
> - Interfile format: header .h33 + raw image .i33
> - Analyze format: header .hdr + raw image .img
> - MetaImage format: header. mhd + raw image .raw
> - DICOM format: a series of .dcm files
