[Gate-users] GATE @ the 1st ESTRO Physics Workshop! Glasgow, 17-18 November 2017

Dear all,

We are proud to announce a two-days workshop at the "1st ESTRO Physics Workshop" meeting, taking place on 17-18th of November in Glasgow:

The multidisciplinary Gate/Geant4 Monte Carlo platform in medical physics: clinical applications and research

The workshop aims at promoting exchanges of knowledge and ideas between medical physicists and researchers.

It will combine invited talks by leading scientists, proffered papers on on-going research (open call attached) and plenty of time for discussion.

The workshop will consist of three main parts:
*             General introduction to GATE and GEANT4
*             Monte Carlo simulation for emission and transmission imaging
*             Internal and external radiotherapy (including ion beam therapy)

We invite you to submit your contributions until 4th of September 2017.
