[Gate-users] Re: Gate-users Digest, Vol 10, Issue 12

Dear Gate Community,

Is there a way to run a simulation until a certain number of events have
been counted in a detector (rather than by simulation time)? I would
like to move a point source around in imaging space and obtain equal
counts in a gamma camera for each source position. The efficiency of the
collimator depends upon source position, so I can run longer simulations
and then scale down appropriately, but that necessarily wastes some run
time.

Thanks for any input.
