Dear Javier

this is an old topic. please do a search on this both on the stir mailing
lists and gate. In addition, a number of people have made tools for GATE
output, but I don't know if they are publically available now.

Subject: [Stir-users] interfile format for the binary *.s

Hi, my name is Javier, i am a new user of STIR, i´ve no problem installing
that, but i will use STIR for reconstructing images for CLEARPET. First of
all, i´ll use STIR with data from simulations with GEANT4 but the format is
in a list mode one. STIR accept an interfile like format to apply the
algorithms so i would convert the list-mode format in the interfile format,
but i don´t know the structure of the binary file *.s, about the secuence of
the number, the array structure, if stir need an special array structure, or
somethings like that. My intencion is to do an ASCII file and then to covert
to a binary one. Thanks

Javier.
