I believe that all of the outputs are binary unsigned short integers so
you can read them from the file. In terms of getting images Sadek's
approach of replacing the DST's data with GATE data is probably fastest
way to get an image that is built in the same manner as the DST.
Not sure about the images on the web site.

least now I know the limitations of my design. What about using the
.ima and .dim files from the sinogram outputs? what can be used to read
those ? Given that one is only interested in the basic parameters of the
DST scanner ,- NEC , resolution and sensitivity whicih system will be
best for the DST then ? I was hoping I could at least get some form of
reconstructed image of a point source so that I could calculate the
spatial resolution.
In the example of the Hoffman phantom , what was used to produce the
images I saw on the documentation website ?
