Hi all

Apologies if this double posts. I tried to post it last night but can't see it on the list myself, and then I found it in my Outlook drafts (as well as sent items) when logging in on a different computer. I thought I would post again in case it was a genuine fail the first time.

Hi everyone

I've got some code which seems to run beautifully when playing with Digimouse data. However, I've created a version of the digimouse PT data using 3D slicer where I have used the atlas to segment the heart and masked everything outside this to 0 - my intent is that I've effectively got PT data where every emission occurs from the heart. This data is then saved in the same Analyze (hdr/img) format that the digimouse data originally started life as. Looking at the headers in imageJ, the new masked file does have a few extra fields but everything else matches accordingly.

Unfortunately, when running this simulation, just after building the Reference Physics List QGSP_BERT, it crashes with the following error:

G4VUserPhysicsList::SetDefaultCutValue: negative cut values :-1[mm]
### Adding tracking cuts for neutron TimeCut(ns)= 10000 KinEnergyCut(MeV)= 0
Terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::length_error'
What(): vector::_M_default_append

This then aborts my bash script which is running the mac. I've searched online and found a post in the archives whereby someone else got a similar std::length_error but that was resolved by removing a space in the file name. I don't have any spaces in my filenames so I'm not sure it is the same cause. I suspect it might be something to do with the Physics.mac but I don't know what. I can run the exact same script and select the original digimouse Analyze data and it seems to be fine. I don't actually care about neutrons in my simulation either.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated!

Thank you
