[Gate-users] Randomly distributed spheres

Hi Saeed,

Here is how I would do it as first thought:

  1. Generate randomly distributed X, Y, Z positions in a box. There are plenty of MATLAB scripts (or python) available online to do that.
  2. Suppose you have too many spheres and don't have to write them by hand one by one. You can write a Matlab or (python) script to generate a macro to define your randomly distributed spherical sources and phantoms according to your generated random positions.

I hope it helps,

Mahdjoub

Objet : [Gate-users] Randomly distributed spheres

Dear Gate users,

I hope you are doing well.

How can I generate a box containing randomly distributed spheres as a geometry?

Best regards,
