Hi,
There are always two lists in the ROOT TBrowser tree of GATE ROOT output
(singles, hits, coincidences, etc) from my experience. So you could try
filter them all and see whether the result make sense or not. For the look
up table, see the following link of GATE instruction:

Usually you just need to care about the Compton and Rayleigh effect of
scatter in the output file and the filter standard depends on your
simulation. I am not very familiar with CT imaging output, but you could
have a try first with a simple filter threshold. Good luck!
