[Gate-users] Multiple ring repeaters

Hi.

Is it possible to use the ring repeater command more than once?

I have defined a 2-head SPECT system where the heads are separated by an angle of 76 degrees. To improve the efficiency of my system, I thought it sensible to place a second instance of both heads 180 further around the ring.

The 2 head system is generated with the ring repeat - I have removed some lines but it is essentially:
/gate/SPECThead/repeaters/insert ring
/gate/SPECThead/ring/setAngularSpan 76 deg
/gate/SPECThead/ring/setRepeatNumber 2

Is it possible to then do a second repeat of this geometry somehow? My efforts have failed...ideally the above could be repeated with something like:
/gate/SPECThead/repeaters/insert ring
/gate/SPECThead/ring/setAngularSpan 180 deg
/gate/SPECThead/ring/setRepeatNumber 2

To produce a total of 2 sets of 2 heads (4 heads). I see from the examples it is possible to combine ring and linear repeaters. Can ring repeaters be used in a way which suits my purpose?

Cheers
Steve
