[Gate-users] GATE simulation with phantom defined as detector

Hi Everyone,

             In a GATE simulation, I am defining the phantom material as an
active detector itself to have better command on post-processing of data
rather than only having 'phantomCompton' variable to work with. Initially I
thought a simulation with a phantom as an active detector should be
equivalent to that of simulation where the phantom is defined as a phantom
itself. But my post-processing of events gives me a very small number of
good events with respect to other case.

             I will be glad if someone who has dealt with this issue shed
some light.
