[Gate-users] Gate technical meeting: 10th September

Dear all,

We are organizing the *next Gate technical meeting*, via *videoconferencing*.


It will be held *Thursday 10th September 2020* (see detailed hours below).
Usually, such meetings are organized two times a year and regroup
presentations from various teams working with and/or for Gate. It is a
great opportunity to casually exchange and discuss scientific and technical
questions related to Gate simulations in medical physics. The meeting will
be remotely managed via videoconferencing, free and open to everyone.

We plan 15 presentations within time slots of 20 min (10-15 min talk + 5-10
questions). In order to prepare the program, and if you want to present,
could you please send me by email the title of your presentation (+ 2-3
lines of description) so that I can create the program, *before 20th July*.
You will find below examples of previous meetings with associated
presentations (usually we split the program with a session on imaging and
another one on dosimetry). Once the program will be set, we will ask all
presenters to record their talk in a video (for example with the audio
recorder capability in PowerPoint or any other means). More details on that
will be given later.

We require that every person that plans to participate *register* on the
following website: https://indico.in2p3.fr/event/21826. We will use CISCO
WebEx videoconferencing, the link will be given some days before the event.

It will be the first time we run such a remote event, so I count on you for
your active participation and your indulgence ;)
