[Gate-users] Visualize Voxelized source

Hi Zhengzhi,

I have struggled with the same problem. Currently, there’s no method to do visualization of voxelized source nor volume. You can however visualize a certain number of primaries in order to check whether you’re placing your source where you think you are. This can be helpful, but it will give you only a rough estimation of location.

Otherwise, something I’ve done is created an imaging module in the GATE environment. You can place that relatively easily at an exact location, and based on the image formed on the device, know roughly where your voxelized source is.

Hope this helps. If you need any information on imaging modules in GATE or visualizing primaries, the Gate Users’ Manual does a good job explaining this.

Best,

Chris

Subject: [Gate-users] Visualize Voxelized source

Dear Gate users,

A quick and simple question: has any one ever succeed in visualizing their voxelized source?
Is it possible to do so? If so, then how?

Thank you very much for your help.

Sincerely,
Zhengzhi
