Hi All,

  I am new to GATE. I simulated a PET system and obtained the ROOT file for
output. I want to analyze the root file's contents. So, I tried to convert
it to a text file using the steps in the User Guide v7.2. But, I am getting
a text file with 0 bytes (empty file).  Also, how to run a simulation with
step size as 20 ns, analysis for 120 ns and complete system simulation for
more than 10 hours?

  Could anyone please guide me on these and provide any tutorial or
reference website dedicated for different PET system simulations?
