[Gate-users] Detector development with plastic scintillator and PMT

Dear all,

I’d like to simulate a gamma detector. The material is plastic (like EJ-200)
and I like to optimise the position of the PMT to increase the signal (best
position for light capturing with various source positions). Is there a way
to simulate this PMT and maybe another one to acquire a energyspectrum with
these data too?

I know, that the optical simulation needs a lot of computing resources but
at this time I’m testing it with vGate8.1. 

I’d really appreciate if there is any expert who can help me.
