Dear GATE users,
I am trying to run the Time-Activity Curve example provided on Github (
https://github.com/OpenGATE/GateContrib/tree/master/imaging/TimeActivityCurve)
before going further with my own data. I am facing difficulties to get
acceptable results.
I made a few changes in the *mainMacro.mac* file otherwise I was not able
to run it :
- In the physics part : I used the physiclist emstandard_opt3
- In the Cubic voxelized source part : I used imageReader instead of
interfileReader (with which the following error occured :
*GateSourceVoxelInterfileReader.cc
(l.25): GateSourceVoxelInterfileReader is obsolete, use
GateSourceVoxelImageReader instead!* )
The simulation is now running but ::
- I get a lot of warning at the beginning like :
*GateGeometryVoxelInterfileReader::ReadFile:
WARNING: voxel not added (material translation not found); value: 3840*
- The output root file seems to be empty or nearly empty. I thought it was
due to the activites given in the exemple (maximum equal to 1Bq). Thus, I
tried to increase by a 1000 factor the activities in the *liver.txt* file
in order to detect more events but the output root file is always as empty
as before.
Moreover, the files *activityRange.dat* and *acti.range* seem to be
constructed differently than in the wiki. If I try to match what is
described on the wiki I get the following error :
*-------- EEEE ------- G4Exception-START -------- EEEE -------***
G4Exception : SetTimeActivTables issued by :
GateVSourceVoxelReader::SetTimeActivTablesAborting...*** Fatal Exception
*** core dump ***[G4-cerr] **** Track information is not available at this
moment[G4-cerr] **** Step information is not available at this
moment[G4-cerr] -------- EEEE -------- G4Exception-END --------- EEEE
------- *
Did anyone succeeded to run the Time Activity Curve example recently or has
any advice to give to solve this issue?
Kind regards,
