[Gate-users] problem with voxelised simulation: no error no progress [solved]

Dear Gate developers/users,

Recently, after spending a lot of time to check if there was a bug in my voxelized simulation, I noticed that just by changing the navigator from ImageRegularParametrisedVolume to ImageNestedParametrisedVolume the problem was solved. Actually, my problem was that, for some unknown reason, for some voxel size and number of voxels of the voxelized phantom/source, the simulation didn't progress at all without giving any error. Surprisingly, it worked for some voxel sizes but not for some others!

I thought this might be useful to share here for the users, may avoid them from such a pain, and for the developers, maybe they solve this issue, add more warning/error messages in the code, or update the documentation for the voxlized phantom/source.
