Hi Reza,

You can also use ROBY/MOBY phantoms, however you need to purchase them.

Bests,

Parisa

Subject: [Gate-users] Voxelized Brain Phantom

Hello GATE users!

Since my quick search in the mailing list has not been successful so far, I am going to ask this question: Does anyone know where I can find a reliable voxelized brain phantom that I could use in a simulation of a normal FDG brain scan in GATE?

I found this amazing little software at the Rahmim Lab that produces customized voxelized brain phantom representing MR images (or at least that's what I think these images are!).

https://rahmimlab.com/software/computational-human-brain-phantom/

I think I could use this package for PET too but I should manually define an activity distribution in each region of the brain which is well beyond my knowledge!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Regards,
Reza
