[Gate-users] Castor Reconstruction

Hi João,

The castor-GATERootToCastor script requires the definition of a matrix
of virtual pixels for the SPECT camera. The correct option to use is
"/-sp_bins X,Y/", where X and Y define the number of transaxial and
axial pixels respectively (ignore the /-spect_b/ command as mentioned in
the error message, it is related to an older build).

In practice, the singles will be assigned to a specific pixel depending
on their globalPosX,Y,Z.

Regarding the /-m/ option, you should indeed give the main macro. The
script will look for any (uncommented) //control/execute/ commands, and
should look in every other macro file called from the main file. I am
not sure why it couldn't find yours, maybe some issues regarding path
management. A quick workaround would be to copy the contents of the
SPECT macros in one single file.

I attached some example scripts for the conversion and reconstruction of
the GATE SPECT benchmark data. You can launch them from the benchSPECT
directory.

Let me know if you have other questions, or get any new errors.

Best regards,

Thibaut
