[Gate-users] Phasespace approach to accelerate simulation time

Hi Gate community,

I am Jennifer and a graduate student working with GATE. I would like to separate the phantom and the detector tracking with GATE 7.2. and a voxelized source+phantom (Phase space approach) to accelerate my simulation.

However, I run into errors getting my  phantom tracking root output file into the detector tracking mode. Error message below. Does someone have experience with this? I use the same master file except I change the lines between tracker and detector mode


#/gate/stepping/SetMode Tracker
/gate/stepping/SetPolicy StopOnPhantomBoundary
/gate/stepping/SetPolicy KeepOnlyPhotons
/gate/stepping/SetEnergyThreshold 425 keV
/gate/stepping/SetTextOutput status ON

/gate/stepping/SetMode Detector
/gate/stepping/SetNumberOfTrackerDataFiles 1
