[Gate-users] Assessing Gate-User mailing list archives and Dose calculation

Hi Emmanuel,

1. There should be an archive for that but I do not know if it is still keep updated.. sorry I cannot provide more info so far but honestly I would be also interested to know a precise answer to this point.

2. If I understood correctly your output I think you simply have to sum up the dose values you have already obtained. This will give you the dose in your box in Gy, then you need a factor 1e3 for mGy unit. Only one comment: if you look at the first matrix (slice) of your output you have a set of zeros due to the resolution you used in your simulation! ( ...but maybe you did it on purpose...? )

Hope it can help!

Cheers
Alessio

Hi Gate-Users,

1.Please, how do you assess some of the previous questions already answered on the mailing list platform?.

2.Please, I used the Dose Actor for my simulation with ASCII(.txt) format and had the results below. Any idea How to find the total dose in mGy will be appreciated. Thanks

dose-Dose.txt results below

# Matrix Size= (30,30,100)
# Resol = (3,3,3)
