I would like to ask for help with compilation of gate pet2stir:

...this software should be able to convert GATE root output to STIR 
projection files.

I have got difficulties with compilation - when trying "make", I receive 
error with missing root libraries. When I try to edit makefile and add lines
with path to root libraries (according to the instructions), the result is 
the same and makefile reverts to its default version. Looks like this whole 
project is coded in something called QT make. Is there anyone who could tell
me what to edit in order to compile this software succesfully?
