[Gate-users] Gallium-68 source definition

Hello Maryam Fallahpoor,

the lines below show how I usually specify an ion-source.
In this case it is for I-131:

## Iodine-131
/gate/source/IonSource/gps/particle				ion
/gate/source/IonSource/gps/ion 					53 131 0 0
/gate/source/IonSource/setForcedUnstableFlag 	true
/gate/source/IonSource/setForcedHalfLife 		692988.48 s
/gate/source/IonSource/gps/energytype 			Mono
/gate/source/IonSource/gps/monoenergy 			0. MeV
/gate/source/IonSource/setActivity 				{SourceActivity}


So in your case you have to  modify accordingly for Ga-68

31 68 0 0

and

Halflife67,629 min <https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minute>

However I don’t exactly know, whether you can use an ion-source
for voxelized sources / phantoms at all.
I haven’t found any example, only those for back-to-back,
i.e. two collinear photons / gamma at 511 keV, for example
to faster simulate the positron-electron annihilation.
