[Gate-users] Faults from overlapping STL volumes

Hi

I am making a simulation with several STL volumes that are being placed
next to each other, but I am concerned that these might overlap a little.
While the other volumes in Gate are nice "perfect" geometries, the STLs
volumes are made up of small triangles and therefor have rougher edges that
might overlap if I place two volumes next to each other.

I have made small spaces between STL volumes to avoid overlap, but if I
still have small overlaps, how do I know?
Will Gate give me a warning, error or will my simulation just give strange
results?
