Thanks for the quick answer. I had updated my environment variable files only with the following command line:
"source usr/local/geant4/geant4.10.02-instal/bin/geant4.sh" But now, everything is OK!

Dear Paulo, Maybe you did source geant4make.sh which is found in the install directory (set when you build geant4) and therefore your Geant4 environmental variables are not set.
For me I put in my .bashrc a line: "source /usr/local/share/Geant4-10.2.2/geant4make/geant4make.sh"

Then for me $G4INSTALL is set to /usr/local/share/Geant4-10.2.2/geant4make .
Then when you "make", the program (GNUmakefile, in the .../example/basic/B1 directory) will use any *.gmk found in $G4INSTALL/config :

I was installing the GATE7.2 on Ubuntu 16.04 (MacBook-Pro (2.9GHz Core i5 - 8GB DDR3) dual boot OS X EL Capitan and Ubuntu 16.04), when I have got this problem. I Installed GEANT4.10.02 successfully, but when I tried to make example B1 to test I receive the following:

../../../config/architecture.gmk:408: ../../../config/sys/.gmk: No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target `../../../config/sys/.gmk'.  Stop.

It was first time that I got this kind of problem with this configuration (dual boot). So can somebody tell me what is wrong?
