Hi Frank,

to me it looks like you don’t have the “write permission” in the particular
directory you want to create the file and write data into it.
You probably should create a separate directory under your
account as subdirectory, copy all(!!!)  files for your example you are
trying out into that subdirectory and give this subdirectory write
permission.

FYI: I did not find Materials.xml in the source directory. I was, however, able to find it in another example. I copied that file and ran the command above. As he said it would, it took quite some time to generate an image. Once done, I tried to run one event and after another very long time I got a crash regarding the .root file. I have attached a screenshot of the error.

Is this another pathing issue?
