Subject: [Gate-users] typo? on README file, example_DNA, GATE7

Dear Gate users

Hello

If you open the README file on example_DNA, GATE7, then you can find the
below sentence on "Set-up"

"Monoenergetic protons of 8 MeV are shot along the Z axis at 10
micrometers of the face of the first box Target1"

However, I found that protons are shot along the Z axis at 75
micrometers of the face of the first box Target 1.

Since the thickness of Target1 is 50 um and source is placed at 100 um,
protons are shot along the Z axis at 75 um (= 100 um -50/2 um) of the
face of the first box Target 1.

Below is the selected scripts on source.mac & geometry.mac

<source.mac>

/gate/source/mybeam/gps/pos/centre 0. 0. -0.01 cm

<geometry.mac>

# World

/gate/world/geometry/setXLength 0.3 mm

/gate/world/geometry/setYLength 0.3 mm

/gate/world/geometry/setZLength  1 mm

/gate/world/setMaterial G4_WATER

/gate/world/vis/forceWireframe

# Target1

/gate/world/daughters/name Target1

/gate/world/daughters/insert box

/gate/Target1/geometry/setXLength 0.3 mm

/gate/Target1/geometry/setYLength 0.3 mm

/gate/Target1/geometry/setZLength 50. um

/gate/Target1/placement/setTranslation 0. 0. 0. um

Is it typo?

or my misunderstanding?

I appreciate any comments in advance.

Regards,

Wonmo Sung
