[Gate-users] How to read out created activity in phantom

Hi Hermann,
We do this using the (new) storeAllStep option from the phase space actor
(in the git repository). You then will have all the Geant4 steps in a given
volume and you can process the root output to extract all sort of
information such as the number of primary particles that underwent nuclear
interactions, the scattering in the volume, etc.  It is important to have a
step limiter to obtain accurate results but I think it is always true for
hadronic simulations. Let me know if you would need some examples of root
macro files to process such an output.
