Hello,

you're right, I have also made the experience that the LYSO definition in the GATE database does not match the properties of the scanner's crystals. However, this does not affect the density alone, it is actually a matter of the ratio of Lutetium to Yttrium atoms. As far as I remember the mass fractions in the GATE definition correspond to a ratio of 30:70 in the number of Lutetium to Yttrium atoms, while actually a ratio of 90:10 seems to be more common for LYSO (taking these numbers from my head now, so don't rely on them ;))

If you want to adapt the values to your situation, you should make sure to change the ratio accordingly as well.

I know that the density of LYSO is the 7.3. But the density in the gatematerial.db is the 5.37. The density of BGO and LSO is 7.13, 7.4 as you know.
Is the density of LYSO correct or the modify the this property.
