[Gate-users] Problem with Installation Gate6.2

Hi Tom,

I'm assuming you built root from source already and subsequently installed
it.
If not, then I imagine the root website has good directions on building
from source.

Once that is done then feel free to toggle on the advanced mode.

Make sure "GATE_USE_ROOT" is "ON"
Set "ROOTCINT_EXECUTABLE" to "/somepath
where_you_installed_root/bin/rootcint"
Set "ROOT_CONFIG_EXECUTABLE" to
"/somepathwhere_you_installed_root/bin/root-config"

For a concrete example here is what mine are set to:
"ROOTCINT_EXECUTABLE" is "/home/jkmikell/jkcmApps/root_5.34.04/bin/rootcint"
"ROOT_CONFIG_EXECUTABLE" is "/home/jkmikell/jkcmApps/root_5.34.04/
bin/root-config"
