[Gate-users] Tracking and Detector Mode

Dear Gate Users,

I am trying to use the Tracking and detector modes for a simulation. I'm
following the user's guide but I'm having a problem.

I set the tracking mode like this:

/gate/stepping/SetMode Tracker
/gate/stepping/SetPolicy StopOnPhantomBoundary

This generates a TrackerData file.

Then I use the Detector mode by setting it as:

/gate/stepping/SetMode Detector
/gate/stepping/SetNumberOfTrackerDataFiles 1

I run the simulation and see the following:

1 File(s) remain to be opened in Detector Mode :
---- ../output/TrackerData.root
GateToRoot::OpenTracksFile() ::::
Opening Tracks Data Root File ../output/TrackerData.root

But somehow I get the following error:

-------- EEEE ------- G4Exception-START -------- EEEE -------
*** G4Exception : GetCurrentTracksData
      issued by : GateToRoot:: GetCurrentTracksData
ERROR PDGCode of the particle is not defined.

*** Fatal Exception *** core dump ***
-------- EEEE -------- G4Exception-END --------- EEEE -------

*** G4Exception: Aborting execution ***
Aborted

Any ideas on how to overcome this problem?

I appreciate any help, thanks
