<div dir="ltr">Dear Gate Users,<div><br></div><div>I am trying to use the Tracking and detector modes for a simulation.  I'm following the user's guide but I'm having a problem.</div><div><br></div><div>I set the tracking mode like this:</div>
<div><br></div><div><div>/gate/stepping/SetMode Tracker</div><div>/gate/stepping/SetPolicy StopOnPhantomBoundary</div><div><br></div><div style>This generates a TrackerData file.  </div><div style><br></div><div style>Then I use the Detector mode by setting it as:</div>
<div style><br></div><div style><div>/gate/stepping/SetMode Detector</div><div>/gate/stepping/SetNumberOfTrackerDataFiles 1</div><div><br></div><div style>I run the simulation and see the following:</div><div style><br></div>
<div style><div><font color="#666666">1 File(s) remain to be opened in Detector Mode :</font></div><div><font color="#666666">---- ../output/TrackerData.root</font></div><div><font color="#666666">GateToRoot::OpenTracksFile() :::: </font></div>
<div><font color="#666666">Opening Tracks Data Root File ../output/TrackerData.root</font></div><div><br></div><div style>But somehow I get the following error:</div><div style><br></div><div style><div><font color="#666666">-------- EEEE ------- G4Exception-START -------- EEEE -------</font></div>
