[Gate-users] Dose Collection Problems with Voxelized Phantom; Gate V6.1

Dear Gate Users,

I am encountering two problems with dose collection for a voxel phantom:

 1. When I use the "parameterizedBoxMatrix" or the "regularMatrix"
    commands (following "/gate/world/daughters/insert") the binary
data-set that I get is very sparse - only a handful of pixels are
non-zero. However, I am able to get a good dose measurement when I
    use the "compressedMatrix" command (following
"/gate/world/daughters/insert"). Why do the other two commands
("parameterizedBoxMatrix" or the "regularMatrix") not give similar
results? I am running all simulations with the same number of
    particles.
 2. When I use the "compressedMatrix" command I am not able to get the
uncertainty data file even when I use the command
"/gate/output/doseOutput/saveUncertainty true". However, if I use
"parameterizedBoxMatrix" command, I do get the uncertainty data file
(but it is sparse and almost all zeros for similar reasons explained
in question 1). How can I enable the uncertainty data file for the
    "compressedMatrix" command?

Any suggestions/solutions/comments for how to resolve these two problems
would be appreciated!

Best Regards,
