Dear all,

I want to use the CsI as a crystalline layer but virtuail gate material is
not defined it.

I do not know how to make it.

Dear Samira.

 

In GateMaterials.db there are several crystals - on the base of NaI you can
put the following lines (CsI density is updated for crystal):

 

CsI: d=4.51 g/cm3; n=2;  state=solid

                +el: name=Cesium ; n=1

                +el: name=Iodine ; n=1

 

Please preserve the format one line of space before and after and input it
in Unix editor (to avoid LF/CR problems with Windows). This is for vGate
1.0.
