[Gate-users] Ion source - timestamp problem Gate 6.0.1

Hi Yuxuan,

please find attached a patch for the ion-source, which works with 6.0 and
6.1. My personal experience is, that I trust GEANT4.9.3, since I found
some inconsistency with GEANT4.9.4. My colleague, Michaela Gaens,
has looked into the problem and found the described failures of the
time stamp, but with the patch it is OK and you also will find randoms and
scatter. I hope you find it useful.

Kind regards,

Uwe Pietrzyk

I also tried running my simulation using Gate 6.1 but several problems appeared (apart from the one related to the timestamp) that I gave up and returned straightaway to Gate 6.0. I'm interested in using an ion source but I don't know how to solve the problem. It'd be very very useful if the Gate developers can have a quick look at it.
