[Gate-users] Simulation aborts with segmentation violation

Hi all,

I'm encountering a problem where every time I attempt to run a PET
simulation, it aborts with a segmentation violation message:

-------------------------------------------------
[Core-0] Initialization of geometry
[Core-0] Initialization of physics

 *** Break *** segmentation violation
-------------------------------------------------

I am quite certain that this is happening when the
"/gate/run/initialize" command is executed in my macro file. I was
wondering if anyone had come across an error like this before, or
could suggest something.

The error occurs if I run the simulation from the GATE prompt with
/control/execute and when I run as an argument from the command line.

For reference, I'm using
Ubuntu 11.04
GATE v6.0.1
Clhep v2.0.4.2
Geant4 v9.2p0
Root v5.28.00e

Best regards,

Jasper
