I also had some visualization problems on a Linux machine (redhat 5).
That is, the geometry was not updating all the details ( World, wires missing etc). Also, xterm windows were acting sluggish and leaving trace behind when you drag them around.
Installing the proper grafic card driver solved these problems. Note that on the windows side of the same machine i didnt have display problems.
So to Heidary's question: " Is it possible that the graphic card works different in two systems(Linux and Windows)? "
Yes, you need to have proper drivers for the graphic card for both Linux and Windows…In my case, Linux default driver was not the proper one.
Best,
Arda

Hi,
yes, graphics can work quite differently under different operating systems
and virtual machines rely on the basic system.
On your basic Linux system, not the one from your virtual machine, you could test
the graphics libraries also with: (type this in your console/terminal)
which glxgears
the answer should be where this program is located and could look like:
/usr/X11/bin/glxgears
In case glxgears exists you could then type:
/usr/X11/bin/glxgears
and a window should open with three cog wheels turning.
Also, you could type
glxinfo or glxinfo | more
which give a lot of infos about the graphics installed.
If this fails, then something more basic is missing, which could well be the path
to libraries, etc. Then you better talk to an expert ...
Best wishes,
