[Gate-users] gate: Unknow file

Dear GATE-users,

       When I run my macro file, unknown file is produced with the name of
'gate' in addition to standard date output files such as ASCII, root and
interfile.
During the execution of my macro file, the size of this file is increased
over time. What is the role of this file?  No explanation is given about
this file in GATE User Guide manual.
Please explain to me the role of this file.
