[Gate-users] debian64 bit machine installation with version of gate_4.0

Hi,
I hope you will not have problems compiling the version of ROOT below on
debian64, but I had some problems with ROOT version 5.24
(root_v5.24.00.source.tar.gz) on debian64. After searching the mail
archive, someone mentioned (I think it was Dr. Wolfram Stiller) to add the
--enable-gsl-shared switch to the ./configure command, i.e.:
./configure --enable-gsl-shared
and it did solve the problems I encountered.
