[Gate-users] Computer Science positions in Chile

*The Computer Engineering Department at Universidad de Santiago de Chile 
invites applicants for an international call  for full time faculty 
positions.*

The successful applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree on Computer Science, 
Computer Engineering or closely related engineering field. He or She 
must possess good communication skills, entrepreneurial capacity, and be 
able to join multidisciplinary working teams. The Department is 
especially interested in candidates with teaching background in at least 
one of the following areas: Data Bases, Software Engineering, System 
Theory, Human-Computer Interaction and Information Technology Governance 
and Management. The successful applicant is also expected to develop a 
vigorous interdisciplinary research in areas of interest to the 
Department (see details in

research areas will be considered when the candidate shows a strong 
research record in terms of ISI publications and highly recognized 
international conferences in the last five years.
