Dear Colleagues,
First, I wish you all a very happy new year 2009.
2009 should bring you a brand new version of GATE
(V5) with significant extensions that will make
it possible to also model external radiotherapy
experiments, in addition of the emission
tomography or internal dosimetry experiments that
can already be modelled. Our plan is to have this
release produced for the next IEEE MIC meeting in
Orlando.
I would also remind you that this is your last
chance to answer the GATE survey
(http://surveys.healthgrid.org/index.php?sid=61717&lang=en)
that will be closed on January 31st. Note that
your answers to this survey might help us orient
future GATE developments and funding requests.
Stats from this survey will be posted on this
mailing list and on the OpenGATE website
beginning of March.
All my best,
Irene, on behalf of the OpenGATE collaboration
