[Gate-users] How to enable different outputs

Dear Gate users
My problem is the following: I can run Gate, now I want to reconstruct
the image that Gate gives me. For this I have installed STIR. How do
they talk to each other? I figured out two methods:
1) feed STIR with a proper file (being ECAT7 or Interfile??? not LMF at
the moment)
2) elaborate the .root output with a proper algorithm (someone posted
one here some time ago: 2004/12/15 17:37)
Before going for the second method I'd like to know if any of you is
able to make Gate and STIR to communicate and how.
In any case it's been some days that I'm trying to enable different
output modules to GATE, without much success. I am able to get the ascii
and the root outputs and few others:
/gate/output/describe
GateOutputMgr name: output
Number of output modules inserted: 5
Description of the single modules:
Output module: 'fastanalysis'
Output module: 'analysis'
Output module: 'digi'
Output module: 'ascii'
Output module: 'root'
I have been able to compile (once) with the LMF output. I don't get the
interfile module. So here I have another question: how do I enable the
interfile output? or the sinogram output? It doesn't seem to me that
there is a environmental variable to be set during compilation.
Thanks
Edoardo
