Hello,
Please find below some information from Sebastien Incerti (G4 member,
head of lowEM package, and familiar with VMWare).

Dear Marc,
In order to use of 2 processor machines with VMware :
-make sure to use VMware player 2.5
-edit the *.vmx file with a text editor
-add the option :
numvcpus="2"
-look at the VMware forums...
could you forward this to your GATE user ?
