[Gate-users] more time but no bigger file

Dear gaters:

I'd like to get large number of hits for some reasons.Therefor, two .mac
were set. To reduce the  size of output file , I used  the  ROOT output and
able nothing but  the output of Hits.


The strange thing is that :The two .mac file is just the same but the time
setting ----one is 5000s,the other is 50000s. Yet the size of two
cylindericalPET.root files are both 693.8 MB  after I run the two files.


The two .mac files are attached.


I'll appreciate for your help.
