[Gate-users] New Public Release of GATE

Dear Users,

The OpenGATE collaboration inform you that the new version of GATE have 
been released to public.

The new GATE version (gate_v3.0.0) runs with Geant4 7.1.p01 and
Geant4 8.0.p01.
This version is compatible with a new version of the lmf library (lmf 
3.0) that allows to encode detector ID over 16, 32 or 64 bits.

All informations about new developments, software set-up, gcc versions 
and new options are noted in the README of the distribution and in the 
new Installation Guide and Users Guide (version 3.0).
