Hi everybody,

I simulate with gate 2.2.0 the interactions of X ray (20 kev) in
silicon. I would like to lower the gamma energy cut in this material, as
it seems to be fixed to a 1 mm range (--> 6.88731 keV):

========= Table of registered couples ==============================

Index : 1 used in the geometry : Yes recalculation needed : No
  Material : Silicon
  Range cuts : gamma 1 mm e- 1 mum e+ 1 mm
  Energy thresholds : gamma 6.88731 keV e- 990 eV e+ 521.113 keV
Region(s) which use this couple :

====================================================================

My physics is the following:

***************************************************
# EM P R O C E S S
/gate/physics/gamma/selectRayleigh lowenergy
/gate/physics/gamma/selectPhotoelectric lowenergy
/gate/physics/gamma/selectCompton lowenergy

# C U T S
/gate/physics/setElectronCut 1 mum
/gate/physics/setXRayCut 250 eV

****************************************************

The setXRayCut seems not to influence the photon energy threshold.
How can I set it?

Thanks for any suggestion.

Cheers

Franca
