[gate-users] voxelised attenuation geometries ?

The GATE documentation states the following under the "Voxelised Source" section (under fig 7.1)

" GATE also offers the possibility to read in voxelised attenuation geometries following these two strategies. The gray scale is then converted to material definitions in that case using an analogous translator. "

Is there any documentation available on how to do this? Is there a file like "activityRange.dat" that contains the attenuation coefficients required?
